Lucy Clarkson is an English model. She is best known as being the fourth official Lara Croft model from the Tomb Raider series of video games, a role she carried since May 2000 at the age of 16. As well as the Lara Croft work, she has done lingerie modelling for Vivienne Westwood. Lucy also has a semi famous sister, part time model Gemma Clarkson. She was educated at Wath-upon-Dearne Comprehensive school. She began modelling after participating in an Elite Model Agency competition, where she was one of 12 winners out of 16,000 applicants. Until then she had no modelling experience.Her boyfriend is stockbroker Michael Parnes, who is the nephew of ex-jewellery tycoon Gerald Ratner.

The film won her critical acclaim and boosted her stardom among art-house patrons. In sharp contrast to the limited release of "A Soldier's Daughter Never Cries", the blockbuster film "Deep Impact" brought Leelee's likeness to the mainstream audience. In 1999 she received an Emmy and Golden Globe nomination for her role as Joan in the CBS miniseries "Joan Of Arc". She costarred in "Never Been Kissed" with Drew Barrymore; turning down the role of the popular girl to play the more interesting math nerd. 1999 also saw the much anticipated release of the late Stanley Kubrick's "Eyes Wide Shut". Leelee appeared opposite Tom Cruise in the role she acted for Kubrick when she was just 14.
Born Marisa Bertetta in Santa Cruz, California, she was first "discovered" at age 16 walking through a San Francisco café by two Italian modeling agents. After talking to her parents, Marc and Krista Bertetta, she was on a plane to Italy with her mom a few months later. Marisa gained attention when she appeared in a 1997 issue of Perfect 10 magazine. Although she came in third behind Ashley Degenford and Monica Hansen in Perfect 10 magazine's first annual model search , she was repeatedly showcased in following issues, including the covers of the Winter 1998, Aug/Sept 1999, and Fall 2004 editions.
